IntelligEnSia is a smart energy management system providing two main aspects of household consumption management and user interaction with smart meters. Household consumption management is related with data monitoring functionality and user interaction with smart meters is dealt with controlling functionality. One of the essentials smart home energy management system infrastructure is communication system. The communication system must accommodate the main aspects of IntelligEnSia that mentioned above. The data communication architecture design has been changed based on the development of IntelligEnSia smart meter.
